Meditation and the thought process

Thoughts on meditation since reading 'Search inside yourself'
Before reading chapter 2 of Search inside yourself I have always thought meditation adds value to thought process and how you conduct yourself in all areas, however i probably haven’t been aware of to the extent that meditation can really help. Reading chapter two of Search inside yourself has really shown how far you can take the advantages of regular mediation, and the huge impacts it can make in all areas of life.
I was not fully aware of the power that meditation training can physically have on the brain. Reading that it can enlarge areas of the frontal cortex that controls our ability to feel happiness, and to alter actual physical reflex is amazing, especially knowing that we all have to potentical to achieve a certain degree of this.
Did any of the suggested meditation techniques stand out to you? I like the suggestion that only 2 minutes meditation a day can make a significant difference in how we process things - because this could be very achievable for most people, so this is a great suggestion.
